Hello and welcome to my space online. I am a registered nurse, PhD student, and experienced Knowledge Translation Specialist based in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Research Experience
I am a master's-prepared registered nurse, currently pursuing a PhD through the University of Alberta. I have been involved in nursing research since 2019. My research area in gerontology has a focus on the family and friend caregivers of older adults. I am experienced in systematic and scoping review methodology, qualitative and mixed methods, patient-oriented research, and community action research.
Clinical Experience
My clinical background is in general medicine. I am certified by the Canadian Nurses Association in medical-surgical nursing [CMSN(C)]. I am also a lecturer in the undergraduate nursing program at the University of Alberta. I teach courses in pathophysiology, pharmacology, and nursing foundations.
